A Simple Woman's Daybook -June 15

Please stop by Peggy's for more entries in this week's Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my Window... are new seeds planted in the garden: oregano, chives, turnips, beans.

I am thinking... about how to rearrange our week should Jeffrey remain sick for a few days or need to go to the doctor; about how Laura Berquist said that families that do all the work together until it's done are happier than families that don't

I am thankful for... Jeffrey not being sicker, for sisters to entertain him so I can sit for five minutes, a husband who got up in the middle of the night to see if he was OK

From the kitchen... leftover homemade soup, and half washed lettuce that was harvested to make room for the new seeds. Hopefully we will have time to fully wash it before dinner!

I am creating... ummmm, leftovers? Salad? A baby who is healthy and not cranky all day?

I am going... to go to bed early, if I'm lucky

I am wearing... long blue shorts and a lavender maternity top (no I'm not pregnant, I'm also not going anywhere today, lol)

I am reading... Just finished Mitten Strings for God and have not yet picked a new book.
I am hearing... Jane singing in the bathroom

I am hoping... that Jeffrey gets better soon

Around the house... the girls are reading and one is napping (I hope...it's awfully quiet in there); toys are scattered but laundry is DONE!

One of my favorite things... a new favorite thing: popsicles made from Trader Joe's Green Plant juice

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
looks like it will be holding Jeffrey, consoling Jeffrey, offering Tylenol to Jeffrey, wiping Tylenol off of my shirt ;-)

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you... since we're on the subject of Jeffrey, a smile from several months ago :)
