Short commercial break

What would the Christmas season be without commercials? *cough cough* Granted, it's not the *Christmas* season yet, it's not even Advent, and I hate commercialism almost as much as this run on sentence, but it's my blog, so I wanted to share a wonder product with you. ;-) I get no money from this unless you happen to click on my links below, which I added MAINLY for the pictures, because let's face it, I'll only get something like an eighth of a cent if you actually buy the product from my link.

My baby has some intestinal difficulties that lead to quite a lot of diaper rashiness. With other children having similar problems, I have gone through a ton of different diaper creams and powders, including medicated ones. Nothing worked to help the constant rashes, and in fact many made it worse (esp. the medicated ones, go figure). Until I found California Baby Calming Powder that is. This stuff is WONDERFUL, with natural, non-irritating ingredients. I shake some on whenever my baby is showing a little redness. Even more serious rashes are healed within a few changes. Because it's not a cream, it is OK with cloth diapers too. I read somewhere the other day it works as a deoderant for adults too, but I haven't tried it yet. :) A bonus with us, it is free of most major allergens! Too often I have to put natural products back on the shelf because they contain a nut oil or dairy.

If you find you need a cream, I don't recommend the California Baby one because it doesn't seem to stick where it's needed. Instead, try the Burts Bees Diaper Ointment. It has similar ingredients to the California Baby Powder, and it sticks well, like the old fashioned Desitin.

Sorry to sound (and look) like a commercial, but I am just SO happy with these products because they make my baby feel better. And since I'm changing diapers 358 times a day, I think about that a lot. ;-)

I now return you to your regular non-commercial blogging.
