And a good time was had by all...

Not that I *deserve* to have a good day or anything, but it certainly was a *relief* to have a good morning after the last, oh, 15 weeks or so of stressful days, LOL.

The highlights:

*got up early with the intention of going to the pediatricians for a well baby visit.

*everyone was ready on time with the help of Saint DH so no rushing and yelling.

*Got to the ped's on time, and

*found out they thought the appointment was supposed to be TOMORROW morning (I'm 98% sure it was their mistake, I would have remembered making an appointment on St. Nick's day). GREAT! Really, I mean that, I'm not being sarcastic. Because I didn't *want* to take him to the peds. We were seeing the nurse practitioner, whom I don't really like or respect (because I think the feeling is mutual, lol) and was NOT looking forward to the grilling I was going to get for not towing the "million immunizations at every visit" party line. We are delaying. Now, because I have another doctor appointment, I can't make the one they SAID I had. So YAY! I can wait until our real doc comes back from maternity leave and see her instead. :)

*So intstead of spending all morning picking up the flu at the doctors, we got to go to the library and pick up another 34 books (on top of the basket full I had at home).

*A woman with 4 kids complimented me on having 5 and how hard it must be. Thought that was kind of funny.

*Driving home in the beautiful flurries with a dusting of snow already on the ground.

*My usually super-cranky baby was calm, quiet, and even HAPPY at times! Miracle.

*I nursed at the library without a bunch of watchful eyes. There is usually an old man or two around when I want to nurse in public for some strange reason. I don't want to scandalize anyone, LOL.

*Now my older girls are helping make lunch while I nurse Mr. Goodbaby.

All in all, a beautiful day...
