Me (to dh, as we watch the 2yo): That girl is like a bull in a china shop.

10yo: Why shouldn't it be in a china shop?

Me: You know, big wild hairy animal (I did an impression) charging around amongst breakable dishes, glasses...

10yo: OH!! I thought you've been saying BOWL in a china shop! That made total sense to me. A bowl is supposed to be in a china shop.


LOL! I use the expression often, and all this time she thought I was talking about a bowl.
