Loaves and fishes, in reverse

You know how you've heard of "loaves and fishes" miracles, where God has taken what little there was and multiplied it until it was enough for everyone?

I think God has got that going on in reverse at my house. Our clothes washer died on Thursday. I had skipped washing clothes that day so I could do diapers. So I really hadn't done a wash of clothes since last Wednesday. Typically, I'm doing at least one large load a day, with clothes left over waiting for the next day.

Come Saturday, when I was able to take some clothes to my mother's, I should have had several laundry baskets full. I had one. It's been 2 1/2 days since I did that wash, with a pool day and church day thrown in there (so several changes of clothes). Add in a 3yo who thinks pottying is all of a sudden optional. Again, I should have an overflowing hamper, spilling over onto the floor and then some. Nope. It's just reaching the top.

You can have your loaves and fishes miracles. I'll take disappearing laundry any day! :)

(who's hoping it's not all stuffed in the corner under my five year old's bed, LOL)
