My one little post on politics

I'm not a politician, I'm not normally interested in politics. I probably won't post another thing about Palin after this: I cried through her entire speech (I watched it this morning). To think that there will be a truly pro-life person as VP. To think that there will be an advocate for people with special needs in the White House! So I'm crying, and laughing - the hockey mom joke? The spit bath her little daughter gave their baby? LOL!!

So often I feel lonely, as if no one around here understands what it's like to be a mom, a mom of many, a mom with children with special needs, one who is not impressed by the trappings of power. She understand. She GETS me and my family, and our needs and desires.

I never thought I'd see the day. And I'm crying tears of joy, and relief, and hope, and love of God.
