At the risk of sounding uncharitable

...I miss the old 4Real Forums. So many deep thinkers have left or visit only sporadically. I miss the deep thought, the love they expressed, the truth, the digging for answers. I need a place like that used to be - where 8 pages of posts would fill up with questions, answers, wisdom, joking, on a topic like unschooling or how to be modest and not freeze to death in winter. ;-) I miss many people not just for their wisdom, but because we were becoming friends ... and then they were gone.

I love the people that remain, and it's still a great forum. But there is a hole left, and I'm having trouble filling it. I've found some places that are great at discussing things deeply - but without straining it through the wisdom/Truth of Catholicism (or even just Judeo/Christian ethics), it all seems a little hollow to me.

In time, maybe I'll *be* one of those wise homeschoolers with experience to share and the ability to hold my own in a deep conversation about anything and everything, but I think I need about 7 more years of parenting and at least half that much of a good night's sleep. ;-)
