Upstairs, Downstairs

Do I have the only household where someone falls down the stairs nearly every day???

I'm not talking about huge "tail over tea kettle" falls, but dramatic and loud enough that my heart catches in my throat and I get that yucky fight or flight adrenaline rush...you know, they stumble on the third to last step and bang into the wall and catch themselves with the banister or some such.

My stairs are safe - it's definitely user error here and the worst ones are my 8 and 10 year olds! My 5 and 2yo's almost never fall down the stairs.

I don't nag them to be more careful (because it doesn't do any good), but the stress it causes ME every day is going to be the death of me.
