Because I still can't come up with a better title even after thinking about it for Way Too Long...
and I'll probably use different sub-headings on other days, but today I'm too tired to be creative!


Things I learned today:
-that burning a hole in a leaf with a magnifying glass is FUN.
-that my 10 month old still can't tolerate dairy in my diet, and it seems like neither can I.

Today's harvest:
-8 cherry tomatoes
-3 carrots, good size but in additon to that black plague from yesterday, dd saw some kind of aphid and there are nice sized tunnels eaten out of the tops of the root. :-P

Today I am admitting out loud:
I have a huge rubbermaid tote full of cloth diapers that I only use when I feel like it. Sometimes for weeks at a time, sometimes a month will go by in disposables if we get busy, sick, or, ummmm, lazy.

Thoughts and plans:
- Today was a slow day due to lack of sleep. I don't need a TON of sleep, but there is a huge difference here when I get 4 or less interrupted hours (like last night) vs. 6-7 interrupted hours (more typical).
-Gymnastics tonight! Gotta love cheap rec center gymnastics. ;-)
-I love how my girls rush in to see Jeffrey after his nap when I say, "I hear Jeffrey!"
-Not many other thoughts today because I'm just. too. tired.

Today's accomplishments:
-made a scale model of the solar system with balloons and rocks hung from our banister (and burned a hole in a leaf! What joy! What power! :) )
-read aloud time (Moccasin Trail)
-broke up lots of arguments

What's for dinner:
Pasta with bacon, corn, black beans, and salsa for those who can eat it. It's good. Really. ;-)
