Harvesting:
A big fat ... nothing. I'm trying to let the tomatoes ripen on the vine more instead of saving them from the critters. ;-)
Hearing:
A wonderful Sousa march. Reminding me of my marching band days. The baby is banging toys together at my feet, in time to the music. (well, not really)
Creating:
These! The girls are so excited and theirs are turning out great so far. (ht: Jessica)
Disappointed:
That I planned my day around a First Friday Mass that apparently didn't happen. Drove 1/2 hour to find the church locked?!
But There is Always a Silver Lining:
With the extra time we had we stopped at the craft store on the way home, bought some gifts and enough tulle to outfit an entire troupe of ballet dancers.
We Are Plowing Through:
Moccasin Trail
and loving it.
(and I'm already all set to deviate from my Sonlight plans that I said I was going to follow by the book...we are adding in My Indian Boyhood and The Indian How book...I *am* going to follow the SL plans, just jump back and forth from strict IG following to my own rabbit trails, LOL)
But because I wrote it really small, it doesn't count.
What's For Dinner:
A panicking mom...I really have no idea. Well, I have SOME ideas but we don't have enough real dinner food in the house, and nothing I am creating in my head sounds like something my family would eat. :-P
Ring-a-ling:
There is my beloved on the phone. Time to start our weekend:
Plans:
-farm fair
-birthday party
-cleaning
-food shopping
-resting (well, I'll try)
-gearing up for a busy week of schooling and appointments
-counting my blessings
Love,
