Small Successes
1. I haven't been beating myself up as much as usual for my usual foibles - cheating on healthy diet, letting kids do their own semi-educational things instead of my homeschooling plan because I don't want to mess with them, etc.
2. I did what was right for my relationship with 9yo dd - stopping a certain curriculum that was "not her" even though I really wanted it to be. I'm trying to remember that love/relationship is everything and that will go MUCH farther towards her being joyful and successful in life than any particular curriculum.
3. Ummm...you know it's bad when thinking of only 3 things is difficult...OK, I apologized to one dd after being a little harsh, and I was calm and collected more than usual this week. Although I don't attribute that to ME having any sort of control, I think it's mostly because of the better foods I'm eating (hopefully more on that later).
Really small successes this week...
