There is no way to make this come across well in writing

But today my children were arguing in OPERA.

Imagine two children standing together while trying to help with lunch preparations, singing everything they say in an fake operetic sing song:

"Jane needs some one to get her RICE milk. RICE milk!"

"Not I! Not I!"

"But Jane neeeeds some one to get her RICE milk!"

"It would be youuuu-ooooooo!"

"If no one gets it she will not be HEAL-thy!"


ROFL! Boy, did I ever need that comedy break, even if they were still really arguing through it all.
