I'm on a mission

I've been trying to find a portable island/kitchen workspace to work in our kitchen. It's supposed to be an eat-in-kitchen, but it really doesn't fit us anymore. So we eat in the diningroom all the time. The round butcher block-look kitchen table and one lone kitchen chair are still in there (the others are being used in the DR!) We use the kitchen table as a cooking workspace some times, and a clutter collector at others (i.e. 90% of the time, LOL). Since we need a bit more cabinet space also, I was hoping to find some kind of island. I prefer an island over just keeping the table, because it hurts my back to stand just slightly bent over to work at the lower table...and sitting in the chair is just too low/awkward.

In my dream world, this island would have a little overhang so we can sit stools around part of it to have a snack or so smaller children can sit up and watch/help. Traditional islands are too big for our 10x10 kitchen. Smaller "worktables" don't have the kind of storage I want (I'm looking for a place to store my crock pot which is used often, and possible the juicer and a few other things that now have permanent residence in the basement area). Nor are they big enough for six people to stand around as I work with my children.

Soooo...here's what I'm looking for. A corner kitchen island. A triangle. The upper point of the triangle would point towards the corner of the room, but be out a foot or two for stools to sit around it. The front would have doors or at least some way to hide the storage underneath. I really think this would maximize sitting and workspace while minimizing it's impact on the room, which because of door and window placements and appliance locations, only has so much room to work with.

Has anyone ever seen such a thing? I have been searching with no luck.

I would be forever grateful to anyone that can point me in the direction of a triangular island that people can sit around! :)
